VIDEO CLIP PRODUCTION

On THE CREW we have a growing bank of video clips that we have produced for bands and artists. These can be found on the website or on our youtube channel.

If we develop a clip with a band or artist the ownership remains with the band or artists. They are free to use the clips for what ever purpose they see fit e.g. promotions, marketing on their own youtube channel etc.

If you would like you would like to be considered for production of a clip once again get in touch. You must be around senior high school age (plus a few years) and you must have original material.

This part of our program also offers an exciting opportunity for young people to develop their own web presence and at the same time learn the ropes of production in a creative environment.

 

OK .... what if you are a singer without a band or a song writer without a performer. THE CREW is a melting pot of collaborative performance. We can put you with an ensemble that will work with you to develop the talents that you do have and give effect to your performance ideas.

We currently have over 70 talented performers, writers, arrangers, dancers etc. who perform across a wide variety of styles and genres. We are looking for gifted young people who have put the time into their talents to develop to a performance level.

This part of our program also offers the opportunity to learn production skills associated with presentation, lighting, live sound, sound recording and video production. If you would like to be a part of this aspect of our program please get in touch.

SOUND RECORDING

CREW Studios has a multi - track recording facility with Mac, Qbase and Mackie at it core. Microphones are sponsored by 'Rodes Microphones'.

The facility has been used to record many bands and artists over the years. It has also been used by singers and performers to refine and experiment with their ideas.

This part of our program also offers an opportunity to learn the ropes of sound recording and post production.

At THE CREW we all work as a team, sharing ideas and supporting each others performances. It is a real melting pot and smorgas board of production and talent.

CREW AGENCY

As a natural flow on from our involvement in the performing arts we are looking for talented peolple to become part of our development and promotion agency.

We have always had many gifted artists associated with THE CREW. The agency provides our young performers with access to recording, concert promotions, television appearances as well as talent development and enrichment.

The agency deals with both performance and production talent offering young people the opportunity to become part of a growing media production and performance network.

Agency involvement is by audition. If you are keen let us know:)

 

A SHOWCASE FOR YOUNG TALENT

In an age of 'reality' television the available showcases for young people to display their talent and launch a career in a conventional way have all but disappeared.

OK, is this all bad? .... not really! Times are changing. A new bread of musician is harnessing the power of performance technology and social media to get their music out there. In doing so they are rescuing the music scene back from the 'big boys' and returning it to grass roots where it belongs.

Over 18 years of broadcast on SBS Television, 'THE CREW' has provided a musical and performance showcase for hundred of young people. Dancers, musicians and a variety of performers have displayed their talent on the show across a wide variety of genres and styles.

'CREW TV aus', our youtube channel ensures that we continue to be a part of encouraging new artists and developing new sounds.
